1. Who we are

Hokma [legal entity to be confirmed] ("Hokma", "we", "us") operates this website, hokmabook.com, to introduce the Hokma knowledge and learning platform ahead of its public launch. This policy explains what personal information this website collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers this marketing website only; the Hokma application has its own terms and privacy documentation, presented when you create an account.

2. What we collect

This website collects personal information only when you choose to give it to us:

• Waitlist signups — your email address and, optionally, the role you select (educator, student, or professional).
• Institution demo requests — your name, email address, institution, role, and any message you include.

The website does not require an account, does not set cookies, and does not include analytics or advertising trackers.

3. How we use your information

• To contact you about Hokma's launch, early access, and related product updates you have asked to hear about.
• To respond to institution demo requests and founding-partner enquiries.
• To understand overall interest in the product (for example, how many educators versus students have joined the waitlist).

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

4. Where your information is stored

Form submissions are transmitted securely (HTTPS) and stored in Google Cloud Firestore, the database service of Google Cloud Platform, which we use to operate the site and the Hokma platform. Google acts as our infrastructure provider and processes this data on our behalf.

5. Third-party services

• Hosting — this site is served by Firebase Hosting (Google). Like any web host, it processes your IP address to deliver pages.
• Fonts — pages load the Fraunces and Poppins typefaces from Google Fonts, which means your browser sends your IP address to Google when fetching them.

6. How long we keep it

We keep waitlist and demo-request information until the launch-related communication it was collected for is complete, or until you ask us to delete it — whichever comes first.

7. Your rights

You may ask us at any time to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you. Email privacy@hokmabook.com and we will act on your request promptly. Every email we send also includes an unsubscribe option.

8. Children

This website is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, contact privacy@hokmabook.com and we will delete it.

9. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the updated version on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Material changes will be highlighted on this page or communicated by email where appropriate.
